We have received a few questions relative to the "lack of construction" going on in District 48 this summer, in light of the passage of the building repair referendum in November 2016. Many assumed they would see signs of construction right away after school was dismissed in June.  Unfortunately, due to the error by the DuPage Election Commission in the public posting of our referendum last fall, we were not able to sell our bonds until much later in the Spring than we had hoped.  As a result, we were not able to put these projects out to bid in time for work this summer, so these repairs are deferred to the summers of 2018 and 2019.  You will definitely see signs of this major repair work starting next summer!

For all in our Salt Creek School District 48 extended family, please have a healthy and safe summer break 2017!  School resumes on August 17, 2017 for staff and on August 22, 2017 for students.

Kindergarten registration for the 2017/18 school year begins April 6th, 2017. If your child will be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2017, please call Salt Creek Primary School at 630-832-6122 for a registration packet.

We are very excited to offer after school care of our K-4 students on half days this year. Our before and after school program, Right at School, has planned this for us and new students are welcome. It is available for this Monday's half day (9/12). The cost is $30 per half day, or $25 each if you sign up for all five half day sessions (9/12, 11/8, 2/28, 4/4 & 5/12). Enrollment will be open today, 9/9, at 9am. Please make sure you provide a lunch for your son/daughter if they are attending. This program goes until 6pm.
